Mindfulness Kilkenny offers a number of different retreats for those looking to step away from their busy lives' to reboot and build resilience. As well as regular 'Mornings of Mindfulness', which are half day retreats from 10am to 1pm and take place in Lavistown House and Garden, Sion Road, Kilkenny. There are also the Feed Your Mind Retreats, which are a holistic combo of veggie cooking demonstration by wellness & nutrition coach - Mary Butler and lashing of mindfulness meditation coaching by Mindfulness Teacher, Erica Balfour.
Feed Your Mind Retreats One Day Retreat to educate and inspire how to bring balance to the Mind and Body What do you feed your mind and body? Life is so busy and we all have the best intentions to eat more vegetables and fruit and to get active. But then life gets in the way. Sometimes we just need a bit of inspiration and some new skills to encourage us onto the right path to health and wellness. About the Day - treat yourself to a day away from it all in the peaceful settings of Lavistown House, learning how to live more mindfully, how to meditate and how to prepare wonderful nutritious food. Erica Balfour and Mary Butler, both experienced facilitators, will provide practical and simple wisdom for you to bring home to help bring your mind and body back to wholesomeness. We will indulge you in a morning of mindfulness and meditation and in the afternoon, after a tasty healthy homemade lunch, you will learn about how to make a selection of delicious nutritious foods.
